Who's on 1st? Day 10 - Week 2

It was 70 degrees and wonderful outside. I resented having to be at work. I did manage to sneak in a 40 minute nap in my car. It was the best most refreshing nap ever, for a car nap of course. I had the sunroof open and both windows cracked so i had an awesome breeze going and I had the gorgeous warm sun on my face. Loved it!
Not much to say about work. It was long and boring today.
Today was the first day of softball practice. It was cool because i got to meet a lot of people from work that I never talk to because they work in different departments. It was equal amount of men and women. We warmed up playing catch and i was throwing and catching to two different people. I was getting tired after awhile and my arm hurt. I managed to catch almost all the balls that were thrown at me. Then we played a game. I didn't get much action in right field. I was happy about that. I was nervous that i would suck and not be able to catch the balls. The few that did come my way were grounders and i had to practically run up to the pitcher to get the ball back to him. I definately throw like a girl. I was surprised at how competitive it was going to be. This woman named Lisa turned out to be MVP. She was hanging with the boys. A cute blonde named Anne who was on first got all the guys to throw the balls at her and then she would throw them to the pitcher. I resented ther cuteness and her tiny figure. She was pretty good though. It was crazy windy out there. It kept kicking up the dust in our faces. I kept licking my lips because they were dry and could taste dirt. It was gross. I pretty much stunk at batting. I probably hit 70% of them but i kept hitting them right to the pitcher or directly to the third base. Nothing that would actually let me get on a base. Our game is next monday and i definately want to get to the batting cages this weekend. Maybe Sunday with L. I got home from work and L was making dinner since i made it yesterday. I was dead tired from practice. I had to lay down for 15 minutes. We ate dinner then went for a walk. After dinner I ended up eating ice cream and pudding. I think i was just thirsty and since we ran out of bottle water i just wanted something cool and refresing. I definately need to get some water so this doesn't happen again. We were both sore form walk/jogging the day before. The tops of my thighs were killing me and the small of my back and my arms hurt from practice. W called me around 9:30 and we talked for a bit. I was definately happy that he called me early and respected the fact that i wanted to get to bed at a decent time. I fell asleep around 10:30 and slept really well. Apparently L's boyfriend came over at some point and was being really loud and rowdy. She was afraid he was going to wake me up. I didn't hear a thing. I slept like a baby from my exhaustion.

Breakfast: Peanut butter and Jelly sandwich, 1/2 a banana and 1 cup of 1% milk
Lunch: 2 cups black bean and spicy sausage soup, diet Pepsi Max and an orange
Snack: 3 cups of popcorn
Dinner: 4 oz grilled chicken, 1/2 cup garlic rice a roni, sauteed asparagus
Snack: Skinny cow ice cream sandwich and vanilla pudding cup

Exercise: 1 hour of Softball Practice and 20 minute walk

Thoughts for the day: Go Team Live Wire! I really need to practice so that i don't let my team down. Also, i must stock up on bottles/gallons of water so that my after dinner mistake that happend today, doesn't happen again.
