Weigh in #3 & Mary was on a mission towards failure

 Mary's on a mission is my name and the past week in a half I have failed at that mission. Getting a sinus infection and time of the month (TOM)  at the same time is not conducive to weight loss. I was eating my own weight in crackers and laughing cow cheese wedges and ordering delivery because I was acting like a petulant child and didn’t want the salad I’d prepped for the week for dinner. Work donuts also got the best of me but thank goodness I was able to only eat one. Also, at the start of my TOM I ate way too much ice cream.  I only ate within my calories for about 3 days Out of 10. Noooooo!




The bad food and also by ability to crave diet pop with my bad food was causing sleeping issues. I was taking naps and then being up until 3 AM and have to get up at 6. Being so tired put me in such a bad mood and guided me into a really negative head space where I just gave up.

Also, being so tired gave me an excuse not to exercise. I was dragging all the time from the lack of sleep and the bad food. I felt just miserable!

I also didn’t take pictures of my weekend eats because a lot of it was embarrassing and I also didn’t do my normal weigh in on Sunday. Bad Mary!

The past week and a half have been a disaster!

Today I finally bit the bullet and dragged my sorry butt back on the scale. I was 2 lbs up. That was the kick in the butt I needed. Almost to my original weight at the start of June which is disheartening. I have one week left in June and plan to make it a good one. I can do this; I know how to do this; I’m ready to do this.

Today, I packed a healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks for work. I plan to get Subway for dinner and work out for 30 mintues. I’m also going to cook up some ground turkey to make some taco bowls for me and hubby for the rest of the week for healthy lunches.

Anywho on to my weigh in:

Ugh!


 

Starting weight: 215

Last week’s weight: 212.4
Current weight: 214.4 (+2)
Total weight loss: .6 lbs.

 

Well I’m still down from where I started, barely but hey I’ll take it. Hopefully I can lose a little bit more this last week in June and I would love to get back to what I weighed last weigh in = 212.4. We will see.

Also, last Sunday was my daughter’s first swim class. My hubby showed me the videos and pictures and I thought I didn’t look too bad. I was shocked. Usually when I see my pictures I cringe but I looked alright. My brain was confused. It was ready to attack with critical, defeatist  negative self-talk but it  had nothing to say. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am no longer 270 lbs which was my pre-pregnancy weight.

Oh by the way, the whole time we were in the pool my daughter kept whispering, “No, No, No and help!” Lol, fingers crossed she gets used to it soon and actually enjoys it.
