Weigh in #1 in June & Weekend Eats
Last week was a little bit of a struggle trying to keep my
calories where they need to be. I was making more healthy, nutritious choices
but I ended up over my calorie limit more than not and I was wondering what the
scale would say on Sunday.
I also only exercised 2 days last week instead of my goal of
3. I’m only still struggling with the guilt of not getting that 3rd
workout in but I did manage to walk for 15 minutes after lunch each day. On
Saturday I also played outside with Elliana, running trough the sprinklers and
her splash pad. So much Fun! She keeps me feeling young for sure.
Also, we had some unexpected, cute baby visitors on
Saturday.
I found 2 baby mice on out deck. I was freaking out because
I have a severe mouse phobia but I couldn’t just let them die out there and I
looked around for a nest and couldn’t find out. It was also over 100 degrees on
out enclosed deck so I had to put on my big girl panties, my husband’s leather
work glove and rescue these 2. Thankfully we found a local woman to take these
little guys. She raises them, weans them, rehabilitates them, and releases
them. Which is amazing!
Anywho on to my eats:
Friday
I’m starting with Friday’s dinner because I really wanted
Taco Bell. Patting myself on the back
for this healthy redirect. Go me!
Friday’s Dinner: Chicken Kabob salad with a pita bread and I
measured 2 tbs of the dressing and tzatziki sauce.
Saturday
Breakfast: Avocado toast with 2 eggs and coffee in my
favorite mug
Lunch: Veggie burger with baked fries, ketchup and cucumber
and tomato salad with 1 tbs of ranch
Snack: Apple with 1 tbs peanut butter and cinnamon sprinkled
on top
Dinner: Left over cheesy hamburger casserole and a cup of broccoli. Freezer meal to the rescue!
After dinner snack: Kiwi and string cheese.
Total Calories:1,831
Exercise: Zilch. My sister-in-law came over to see the baby mice and stayed for a visit. By the time she left it was close to 10 pm and I was ready to crawl into bed.
Saturday
Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 veggie breakfast patties, half a mini
avocado, some cherry tomatoes and slice of toast.
Lunch: Chipotle burrito bowl, chicken, half brown rice,
black beans, cheese, veggies, salsa and a side of guac
Dinner: Hubby made us some quesadillas for a quick dinner. I
added salsa, sour cream and a whole guacamole
After dinner snack: Chocolate putting and half a cup of
strawberries
Total Calories: 2,329
Exercise: 0 (boooo!)
Starting weight: 215
Current weight: 212.9 (-2.1)
Total weight loss: -2.1 lbs.
Wow! I was praying for a loss, any loss. I was totally not
expecting an over 2 lbs loss. This is awesome. My goal was to loose 3.5 for the
entire month of June so I am almost there with 3 weeks to go. Woo hoo!
